We make your bins look and smell great inside and out. Each bin is washed in a fully enclosed unit with biodegradable antibacterial detergents and deodorisers, combined with high-pressure water. We recycle our water through a filtration system and dispose of the used water and filtered solids under licence, as required by the WA Water Corporation.

After. The truck arrives on your collection day, hours after the council has emptied your bins. We check each bin is fully emptied before it goes into the wash bay.

It depends on what goes in it! It usually doesn't get as dirty as your general waste bin, but milk, soft drink, beer and wine spills are enough to start bacteria growing — not great in our climate. Insects love sugary residue too, so we recommend cleaning it at the same time as your general waste bin.

No. We only use non-hazardous, biodegradable, environmentally safe products: custom-formulated citrus-based cleaning, deodorising and sanitising products. Details are documented in Material Declaration Sheets for organisations that need them.

No — our purpose-built trucks are fully self-contained, carrying over 1,000 litres of clean water on board.

It stays in the truck. Wash water is filtered on board (solids down to 150 microns) and reused during the run, then disposed of at our Maddington facility, which holds a commercial Watercorp wastewater discharge permit. Nothing goes down your drain.

Our pumps run off the truck engine and are rated to 240 litres per minute at 3,000 psi — a very different clean to a garden hose.

It depends how dirty they get. We recommend households start with a four-weekly service and adjust from there. If your council empties your bins on alternating fortnights, ask about our 3- or 5-weekly rosters — they're timed so each visit lands straight after a collection (see the planner). For businesses we recommend a fortnightly or four-weekly service; hospitality clients usually find weekly works best.

FOGO stands for Food Organics Garden Organics — the lime-green-lid bin for food scraps and garden waste such as lawn clippings, small branches and kitchen scraps. Under WA's standard three-bin system the FOGO bin is collected every week, while the red-lid general waste and yellow-lid recycling bins are collected fortnightly on alternating weeks. Collection days and patterns vary by council, so check your council's bin calendar.

According to the WA Waste Authority's list (updated April 2026), FOGO collections run in Bassendean, Bayswater, Belmont, Cambridge, Cottesloe, East Fremantle, Fremantle, Kalamunda, Melville, Mosman Park, Mundaring, Nedlands, Peppermint Grove, Rockingham, Subiaco, Victoria Park, Vincent, parts of Swan and the City of Perth (single dwellings), with Joondalup and Wanneroo scheduled to follow. Some councils, such as Stirling and Kwinana, use a garden-organics (GO) bin instead, and others run a two-bin system. Our schedule planner shows how cleaning lines up with each pattern.

You'll often find us on St Georges Terrace in the City of Perth cleaning bins from 3am. We start as early as required and usually work until around 7pm. We don't work weekends or public holidays, but if there's a job to do we'll make a plan — contact us about anything outside usual hours.

No. Just leave your bins somewhere we can get to them. If you'd like us to put them back where they live afterwards, let us know and we'll do that with pleasure.
